This year we got to celebrate Easter as a family in Moscow.  Things were a little crazy on the actual day so we didn't get pictures. We did take some but they came out black and blurry. Here are the ones from our hunt.

Settling into life in San Salvador has been an adventure. Everyday life can feel overwhelming, and we are still figuring things out. First Glimpse Around Town - El Salvador

  First Impressions  Moving to a new country is always an adventure, and my first few weeks in El Salvador have been filled with surprises. Antiguo Cuscatlán, the neighborhood we now call home, is a fascinating blend of the familiar and the unexpected. Through these first-look photos, I want to share some of the things that have caught my eye.                                                       1. A Taste of Home in a New Place One of the first things that surprised me was seeing places I recognized from the U.S.—Walmart, Denny’s, and other familiar stores and restaurants. Riding past them in this new setting made me feel an odd mix of comfort and curiosity. ¡Vamos a la Playa! (Let's Go to the Beach!)

One of the first Spanish phrases I learned was "¡Vamos a la playa!" which means "Let's go to the beach!" I have always loved the beach, and recently, we took our beach adventures to a new level by joining a beach club, Club Joya del Pacífico. This was my first time visiting a Central American beach, and I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. First Impressions When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised by how clean and peaceful the beach was. There were hardly any other visitors, making it feel like our own private paradise. The water was pretty clear, and the shoreline was covered with beautiful shells, little crabs, and live sand dollars. We had the beach mostly to ourselves on a random Monday, which made the experience even more relaxing.
